About FASMMM

Founded by Theodore R. Sim, French After School Montessori & Mental Maths Abacus (FASMMM) offers innovative French and Abacus tutoring for ages 3–16 and adults. Our programs, available online and in-person in Mississauga, Ontario, use Montessori and Boscher methods to foster confidence, creativity, and critical thinking.

From personalized coaching to group sessions and our unique French Reading Club, we help students worldwide achieve fluency and mental agility. Join us to open doors to international opportunities and a lifelong love for learning.

Our Programs

French Tutoring

Master reading, speaking, writing, and comprehension with immersive lessons using Montessori and Boscher methods. Available for ages 3–16 and adults, online or in-person.

$140/month (4 sessions, 1h each)

Abacus Mental Math

Enhance calculation speed, concentration, and problem-solving skills with our Abacus training using the soroban tool. Perfect for all ages.

$140/month (4 sessions, 1h each)

After-School Program

Personalized tutoring Monday–Friday, 4–7 PM, with activities to boost French skills, academic support, and social development in small groups.

French Reading Club

Our Reading Club fosters a love for French literature for ages 3–16, with three levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced. Using Montessori and Boscher methods, we enhance literacy, critical thinking, and creativity through interactive reading, discussions, and crafts.

Beginner

Focuses on phonics, vocabulary, and listening comprehension to build foundational reading skills.

Intermediate

Improves fluency and comprehension with special books and group discussions.

Advanced

Encourages speaking and critical discussions, with student-chosen books for individual reading.
